TWO MAIN FACTORS IN LOWERING YOUR BAIL

When it comes to putting a price on freedom,  bail bonds aren't exactly a price anyone wants to pay or can afford. However,  if you, or someone you know has an arraignment in court coming up  contacting a lawyer to help you make the right decisions is imperative. The first chance at an opportunity to receive a reduction in bail is at the Arraignment! Don't handle matters like these on your own, contact a lawyer.  Call Attorney Mark Stevens if you would like to discuss a possible reduction in bail at 1-603-893-0074 today for a free consultation and initial case evaluation, or visit us at www.byebyedwi.com. It's never too late to contact an Attorney and fight for your freedom! Call Mark Stevens Today, He'll know what to do!

There are two main  determining factors used in deciding whether or not an indiviudal will be granted a reduction in their bail:

1. FLIGHT RISK= A person who is likely to flee the state, area, or even country in order to avoid prosecution and conviction.

In court the flight risk factor is used when they decide whether or not to grant bond to an individual. This factor is considered while deciding the bond amount. Courts can decide based on their discretion to set highger bail if the defendant has a high risk of flight.   a person who is likely to flee the country/state/area to avoid criminal prosecution.

2. LEVEL OF THREAT INDIVIDUAL PRESENTS TO THE SAFETY OF THE COMMUNITY= A persons level of danger, violence,  terrorism, and safety to and for the community, surroundings, etc. For example in New Hampshire individuals charged with 1st Degree Murder are held until trial and are never released on bail due to their threat level and the safety of their community. First Offense DWI charges usually call for personal recognizance bail.

If Your Plans at Pumpkin Fest' Get Crashed, Be Careful If You Smash and Dash.... If You're Caught, 'BOO' the Cop & Then, Remember to Call Mark Stevens 1-603-893-0074

Pumpkin Festival is an annual tradition in Keene, NH that draws thousands of local residents, students, and non-community members to put their pumpkins on display. In recent years, unhappy residents have tried limiting the activities and annual festivities traditionally held at the Keene Pumpkin Festival.  Authority figures cracking down on all the jack-o'-lantern fun during Hallows Eve seemed wrong and unethical to those who look forward to the yearly carving contests. Keene's well established residents weren't the only ones disappointed by last years rumors of a cancelled pumpkin fest, their 5,500 local college neighbors who makeup the student body at Keene State College were outraged. It seems as though everyone old, young, established or passing through has acquired a kindred taste for Keene's local events and festivities, such as Pumpkin Fest'!

This year, Pumpkin Festival 2012 challenges a whole new slew of food, fun, and events to take part in. Don't forget to log your carved jack-o'-lantern in to be a part of the world record tally. Forget your pumpkin? No worries, there will be plenty of carving stations set up for those who haven't carved one yet. Don't want to carve a pumpkin? Adopt one at the Pumpkin Orphanage, then go log it in. Afterwards hop on the Ferris Wheel,  Pumpkin Fest' 2012's newest addition for an opportunity to get a 45-foot aerial view of the entire festival. Rather participate than observe? Race through the pumpkin-lined car-free streets for the The Great Pumpkin Mile. If you've seen the pumpkin skyscraper illuminating orange for miles around Halloween, then you know the beauty and small town unity Keene Pumpkin Festival represents.

If you get busted at the Keene Pumpkin Festival, call Salem, New Hampshire Criminal Defense Lawyer Mark Stevens (24/7) to find out what your next step should be at : 1-603-893-0074 or visit us online at www.byebyedwi.com for more information. Mass State Police Drug Lab Chemist Caught Cheating

Mass. State Drug Lab Chemist Caught Cheating!

Crooked lab employee cheated to be "the smartest employee in the lab"? Could this happen where you live? If you live in Massachusetts the answer is yes.

It's breaking headlines nationally but especially alarming in Massachusetts, where hundreds or thousands of people may have been convicted based on bogus tests conducted and reported by a state drug lab miscreant. This results-oriented chemist was involved and responsible for certifying and testing drug evidence submitted by local police from all over the state of MA used in cases involving trafficking and other drug-related cases. Governor Patrick shut down this lab on August 30th after multiple allegations that one of the lab's chemists responsible for handling and testing the evidence has been tampering with and mishandling evidence since 2003. But don't worry. All the drugs are being reshuffled to a different Massachusetts state lab for testing. Yes, run by the same team of people who make arrests and prosecute the cases. It's got to be fair doesn't it?

Have you or a loved one been a victim of this lab? Do you beleive that you may have been wrongfully convicted based on the state lab's "win at all costs" practices? Call Mark Stevens, he will know what to do.Call the Law Offices of Mark Stevens to discuss your case. The consultation is free. Call Attorney Stevens 24/7 at 1-603-893-0074 and schedule your initial case evaluation today.

New Hampshire Drivers Beware This Memorial Day Weekend : Extra Cops On Duty

“State Police from New Hampshire and Massachusetts advise residents and visitors on increased Memorial Day weekend patrols,” TheExeterPatch.com.

  (Video, ExeterPatch.com)
New Hampshire DWI Laws.   Beware New Hampshire drivers! Beginning today, May 25th and ending at Midnight on Monday May 28th, the Massachusetts and New Hampshire State Police plan on super-saturating all major state roads and highways.  The state police will spread their reach from NH - MA state borders to MA - ME state lines. They are looking to make DWI arrests and drug possession arrests all over New Hampshire and Massachusetts. The police will be swarming in marked and unmarked vehicles and even using airplanes to slow you down.  This is also traditionally a big weekend for police "DWI roadblocks" in New Hampshire, and crackdowns on texting and driving are expected.
Extra high visibility patrols will be on I-93 from I-495 in Massachusetts to the Hooksett Toll Booth Plaza in NH and on I-95 in MA up through the ME state border as well. The Department of Transportation is amping up courtesy patrol units on I-93 between Exit 4 and the MA state line with numerous DWI and speeding detail units patrolling the roads all weekend. Extra troopers have been employed especially in Hampton Beach using every extra motorcycle patrol unit available to assist the Hampton Police. In Northeastern Massachusetts, MA State Troopers will be conducting sobriety checkpoints 1 of 3 days this weekend as part of the "Click it or Ticket" Operations initiative, as well as, "multiple saturation patrols," according to Maj. Edward Amodes of the MSP.
