Why the Police Don't Like Videotaping Arrests? Shocking Attack By a Cop on a Pedestrian

Hello. Many of you have seen or heard about a vicious attack on a citizen by a police officer in Massachusetts recently. In case you missed it, you can click on this link below to see and hear this brutal atrocity. WARNING: the vulgar officer uses loud profanity immediately before he attacks the citizen so be forewarned that there is loud bad language in this video. Ask yourself this question, posed a few times over the past several months on this blog:
Why don't police like to be videotaped?

This video gives part of the answer. Video players are truth boxes. They cannot change, add or subtract from the truth.

Last month I posted a not guilty verdict on a DWI case from September 16, 2008 that happened because the sober driver was videotaped:

So why aren't most arrests in video and audio recorded? It is easy enough to form your own conclusions as to why most DWI arrests are not videotaped.

Have a good weekend,

  1. Nice blog! I love hearing about cops being crooked and good lawyers doing their job to get them off!
